He pointed.

Evelyn stared.
“Then why did Lang International collapse?”
The attorney continued.
“Because the agreement had conditions.”
“What conditions?”
He looked at the page.
“The investment would continue only if both sides followed strict financial rules.”
“And?”
“Lang International violated those conditions.”
Silence.
“So my father didn’t betray them.”
“No.”
“He protected the company.”
Evelyn sat back.

Evelyn studied him.

Dominic looked at her.

Victor looked directly into the cameras.
