Chapter 11 - The Perfect Ending
Tears of pure joy streamed down Leah's face.
She looked at the ring, then up into Evan's loving eyes.
"Yes," she sobbed happily.
"Yes, I will marry you, Evan," she cried.
Evan slipped the ring onto her finger.
It was a perfect fit.
He leaned in and captured her lips in a deep, passionate kiss.
It tasted like promises and new beginnings.
Ellie ran out onto the balcony, clapping her hands.
"Are we having a party?" Ellie asked excitedly.
Evan laughed and scooped her up into his arms.
"We are going to have a wedding, princess," Evan told her.
"And you are going to be the most beautiful flower girl in the world," Leah added.
Ellie cheered and hugged them both tightly.
They stood together on the balcony overlooking the glowing city.
They had been through lies, betrayal, and violence.
But love and truth had ultimately won the battle.
Evan looked at his beautiful future wife and his precious daughter.
His heart was completely full.
