Damian didn’t stay broken for long.
He was arrogant—but not powerless.
Within 24 hours, he found something no one had flagged yet: a dormant subsidiary buried in Voss-linked infrastructure. A legal gray zone. A loophole she had never closed.
He smiled for the first time since the collapse.
“She’s not untouchable,” he said.
His legal team gathered again, energized by hope.
“If we trigger litigation through this entity,” one lawyer said, “we can force disclosure. We can expose her network.”
Veronica leaned in.
“And then she falls?”
Damian’s eyes sharpened.
“Then she learns she made a mistake.”
But as they prepared the filing, something unexpected happened.
The court system rejected it instantly.
No explanation.
No delay.
Just a sealed notice:
“Entity not recognized for jurisdictional review.”
The room went silent again.
Damian stared at the screen.
