Three days later, Olivia went into labor.
She never called Jason.
Instead, Richard Bennett drove her to the hospital himself.
Margaret sat in the waiting room alone.
For the first time in years, no one listened to her opinions.
Hours later...
A baby girl cried for the first time.
Richard smiled through tears.
"She's beautiful."
Olivia held her daughter close.
"I'm naming her Grace."
"Why Grace?"
"Because grace is what carried me through people who showed me none."
Richard nodded.
"I owe you an apology."
"You don't owe me anything."
"I raised a son who became a coward."
Olivia looked toward the nursery window.
"You can raise a better grandfather."
He quietly cried.
Outside the hospital, federal agents placed Jason in handcuffs.
Fraud.
Tax evasion.
Money laundering.
Conspiracy.
The cameras captured everything.
Olivia never looked out the window.
