PART 6 — THE FINAL VERDICT (ENDING)

PART 6 — THE FINAL VERDICT (ENDING)

Three months later.

The courtroom was silent.

Santiago Rivas stood alone.

No lawyers.

No empire.

No mask.

Only consequences.

Beatriz had already accepted a plea deal.

The documents were undeniable.

Everything he built had been dismantled piece by piece.

Then the judge spoke:

“Custody of the child is granted exclusively to the mother.”

A pause.

“And all assets tied to coercion and fraud are permanently revoked.”

Santiago looked at me one last time.

There was no anger left.

Only emptiness.

“Was it ever real?” he asked.

I didn’t hesitate.

“Yes,” I said.

Then I added:

“And you destroyed it.”

I stood up.

My father met me at the door.

My son in my arms.

The weight I carried for eight months… was finally safe.

As we walked out of the courthouse, cameras flashed.

Reporters shouted questions.

But I didn’t look back.

Because some endings aren’t about revenge.

They’re about freedom.

And as we stepped into the light…

May you like

I finally understood something I had forgotten in the dark:

You don’t escape monsters by fighting them.
You escape them by becoming untouchable.
