PART 4 — THE FALL OF THE RIVAS EMPIRE

PART 4 — THE FALL OF THE RIVAS EMPIRE

By sunrise, the Rivas empire was already bleeding.

Bank accounts frozen.

Foundation assets suspended.

Board members resigning in panic calls.

Santiago stood in the middle of the mansion like a man watching his life collapse in real time.

“No,” he kept saying. “This isn’t possible.”

But it was.

My father had already moved.

Quietly.

Precisely.

Legally.

Beatriz tried one last move.

“You can’t destroy us without scandal.”

My father answered without hesitation.

“I don’t need scandal. I have proof.”

He turned slightly toward me.

“You want justice?”

I nodded.

Not loudly.

Just once.

That was enough.

Santiago looked at me like he was seeing me for the first time.

Not Valeria Mendoza.

Not his wife.

But the daughter of the man who just ended his world.

“You lied to me,” he whispered.

May you like

I shook my head.

“No,” I said softly. “I survived you.”
