The ballroom of the same five-star hotel looked very different.
This time, Emily walked proudly across the polished marble floor wearing a beautiful white dress.
No one stared with disgust.
Everyone applauded.
The hotel staff who once tried to throw her out now welcomed her like family.
The old white grand piano still stood in the lobby.
Emily climbed onto the piano bench.
