Six months later, the courtroom was filled.
Arthur testified first.
The security footage was shown.
Mrs. Hargrove and the maids each gave sworn testimony.
Finally, Sarah took the stand while holding a small photo of baby Grace.
She spoke calmly.
"I never wanted revenge."
"I only wanted my daughter to grow up safely."
The jury deliberated for less than three hours.
Their verdict was unanimous.
Guilty.
Eleanor showed no emotion as the sentence was read.
For the first time in her life, her wealth and influence could not protect her.
Outside the courthouse, reporters surrounded Sarah.
She declined every interview.
