Chapter 3: Justice Served

Three months later...

Richard slowly opened his eyes in a rehabilitation center.

Against all odds, he had survived.

His recovery would take time, but he would walk again.

When Ethan told him everything that had happened, Richard simply smiled.

"I always believed the truth would protect itself."

Victoria stood before a judge, no longer wearing elegant gowns or expensive jewelry.

The security footage, witness testimony, and forensic evidence left no room for doubt.

She was convicted of attempted murder and sentenced to years in prison.

Outside the courthouse, reporters crowded around Ethan.

"What happens to Sterling Industries now?"

Ethan looked toward the bright morning sky.

"My father built this company with integrity."

"We're going to honor that."

Months later, Sterling Industries launched a foundation dedicated to protecting senior citizens from financial exploitation and abuse.

Richard became its first ambassador.

As for Victoria...

She lost everything she had been willing to kill for.

Because in the end, greed didn't make her powerful.

It exposed exactly who she had always been.
