Andrew stormed outside.
A sheriff stood calmly beside several legal officers.

Immediate Eviction Order.
"This is impossible!"
Margaret grabbed the papers.
"They can't do this!"
The attorney adjusted his glasses.
"They absolutely can."
"The property belongs to Escalante Holdings."
Andrew frowned.
"Who's Escalante?"
The attorney stared at him.
"You don't know?"

Andrew froze.
Brenda slowly stepped backward.

Andrew whispered.

"Your wife never told you who she really was?"
His knees weakened.
Every memory rushed back.
The contracts she always reviewed.
The investors who trusted her instantly.
The executives who never questioned her decisions.
The impossible business deals she somehow secured.
She hadn't been lucky.
