The Husband slowly turns around, forcing a nervous laugh.
Husband:
"You can't be serious."
The Wife doesn't blink.
The Butler's phone vibrates.
He glances at the screen.

Without saying a word, he walks past the Husband and respectfully stands beside the Wife instead.
The Husband's own phone erupts with calls.
One after another.
His investors.
His board.
His attorney.
He answers.
His face drains of color.
Voice on Phone:
"Your accounts are frozen."
Another call.
"Your contracts have been terminated."
Another.
"The board voted unanimously. You're out."
The Mistress quietly lets go of his hand.
For the first time, she looks genuinely afraid.
The Wife simply watches.
