Victoria refused to accept what was happening.
"This is a scam!"
She pointed at Helen.
"She's after your money!"

An elderly man walked into the ballroom.
The hotel's owner.
"Actually," he said calmly, "Helen has rejected money for twenty years."
Everyone turned toward him.
"I offered to promote her many times."
"She refused every shortcut."
"She said she wanted to earn every dollar honestly."
The owner then faced Tony.
"There's something else you should know."
He handed Tony a confidential envelope.
Inside were financial records.
Bank transfers.
Secret contracts.
Victoria had been paying reporters...
Selling Tony's private business information...
And secretly planning to divorce him after the honeymoon.
Tony looked at her in disbelief.
"You betrayed me?"
Victoria's face turned pale.
