The next morning, Daniel called an emergency board meeting at the family corporation.
Every executive arrived expecting another routine financial briefing.
Instead, Daniel connected the smartwatch to the conference room projector.
The recording played from beginning to end.
No one spoke.
Several directors exchanged horrified looks.
Margaret slowly stood.
"This is private family business."
Daniel looked directly at the board.
"No."
"It became corporate business the moment the company's chairwoman committed violent assault inside our family home."
The company's legal counsel quietly slid several documents across the table.
"If these allegations become public, shareholders could file negligence claims against the board."
Within minutes, an emergency vote was held.
For the first time in thirty-five years...
Margaret was removed as chairwoman.
Security officers respectfully approached her.
"Mrs. Harrison... we're instructed to escort you from the building."
She stared at Daniel.
"I built everything you have."

"You built a company."
"My wife and I will build a family."
