Carmela's confidence crumbles.
"You're lying!"
Svetlana smiles for the first time.
"I expected you'd say that."
She taps her phone once more.
A large television above the fireplace comes to life.
Security footage begins playing.
Video after video reveals Carmela secretly entering the couple's bedroom, removing jewelry from a safe, opening confidential mail, and even forging her son's signature on financial documents.
The husband stares at the screen in horror.
"Mom..."
Carmela desperately shakes her head.
"I was protecting you!"
"No," he whispers.
"You were controlling me."
Svetlana walks to the fireplace and retrieves another envelope.
"I never intended to expose any of this."
"But the moment you decided to humiliate me in my own home..."
"...you made the decision for me."
Just then, several black SUVs pull into the circular driveway.
Their headlights illuminate the grand foyer through the towering glass windows.
Carmela slowly backs away.
"Who... who's outside?"
Svetlana answers without emotion.
