The moment Elena stepped into the waiting SUV, the mansion behind her erupted into chaos.
Inside the boardroom, twelve directors were already seated around the polished walnut table. Every screen displayed one headline.
Emergency Executive Session.
Elena entered without hesitation.
No introductions.
No applause.
Only respect.
Her chief legal officer placed a thick folder before her.
"All voting rights have been verified."
The chairman nodded.
"Ms. Ward... the board recognizes you as the controlling shareholder."
Every hand in the room was raised.
One unanimous vote later...
Daniel Ward was officially removed as CEO.
Meanwhile...
Daniel stood frozen in his office while security badges stopped working one by one.
His phone lost access.
His executive account was locked.
His assistant quietly lowered her eyes.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Ward..."
She swallowed.
"...I'm afraid I work for Ms. Ward now."
