The sparkling-dress woman stared at the papers in disbelief.
"What... what is this?" she whispered.
The lead attorney didn't even glance at her.
"These documents confirm that every property, company, and financial account currently occupied by Mr. Carter was purchased under the Dixon Family Trust."
Silence swept across the mansion grounds.
The man in the suit slowly lowered the file.
His confident smile disappeared.
"Emily... this has to be some kind of joke."
The pregnant woman looked at him calmly.
"It stopped being a joke the day you forged my signature."
His face turned pale.
The legal team opened several briefcases, placing stacks of contracts across the marble fountain.
Every page carried the same signature.
Every transfer.
Every hidden account.
Every offshore company.
The evidence was overwhelming.
"You have until sunrise," Emily repeated.
"Leave this estate voluntarily...
