He Humiliated Me One Night and Lost Everything by Morning

PART 2 — The Woman They Tried to Erase

Lucas’s empire wasn’t just collapsing—it was being dissected in real time.

My assistant, Daniel, sat across from me, tablet in hand.

“First wave is complete,” he said calmly. “Trading halted. Banks have frozen all corporate accounts pending verification of ownership.”

I leaned back.

“And Lucas?”

Daniel hesitated for half a second.

“He’s still inside the mansion. Refusing to leave the system. Security is waiting for your authorization.”

I looked out the tinted window.

The mansion glowed behind us like a dying star.

“Let him stay,” I said.

Then I added quietly,

“People always need time to understand when their world is already gone.”

The car moved.

Behind us, sirens began to echo through the estate gates.

Not police.

Corporate enforcement.
