As officers prepared to escort Victor away, Emily quietly spoke.
"I remember him."
The detective knelt beside her.
"What do you remember?"
Emily took a deep breath.
"He asked me to come with him."

"He said he had a surprise for me."
Her mother covered her mouth in horror.
Emily continued.
"When I said no... he grabbed my arm."
The detective immediately requested medical staff examine the bruises on Emily's wrist.
