Chapter 4: The Last Door

Chapter 4: The Last Door
Six months later.
Rain washed over the city cemetery.
The bride stood alone before three simple gravestones.
Her mother.
Her brother.
Her grandfather.
She placed a single white rose on each one.
Behind her, footsteps approached.
Her father smiled softly.
"It's over."
She looked toward the distant skyline.
The corporation had been dismantled.
Billions of dollars had been seized.
Every corrupt official exposed during the operation had either resigned or been convicted.
Justice hadn't erased the pain.
But it had finally ended the fear.
Her father gently placed a hand on her shoulder.
"You can stop fighting now."
She took one last look at the names carved into the stone.
"No."
A peaceful smile finally appeared.
"I can finally start living."
Far across the city, workers demolished the abandoned mansion where the wedding had nearly become her funeral.
As the final walls collapsed into dust, the camera slowly pulled back toward the horizon.
Some doors are built to keep people out.
Others are built to make sure the truth never escapes.
But eventually...
May you like
The truth always finds a way.
