The revolving doors opened.
Five black SUVs had just stopped outside.
Security officers entered first.
Behind them walked an older gentleman in a perfectly tailored navy suit.
His silver hair was neatly combed.
The receptionist immediately bowed.
"Chairman Lawson."
The chairman's sharp eyes scanned the lobby.
Then they landed on Evelyn.
His face froze.
"Miss Carter..."
Without hesitation, the elderly chairman hurried across the marble floor.
To everyone's disbelief...
He knelt beside the bruised woman.
"I'm so sorry."
The entire lobby gasped.
The Woman in White staggered backward.
"T-This is impossible..."
The chairman helped Evelyn to her feet with both hands.
"I searched for you for seven years."
"You promised you'd never return."
Evelyn gave a tired smile.
"I didn't."
"I only came back because I heard someone was using my father's name."
She slowly turned toward the Woman in White.
"Looks like the rumors were true."
The chairman's expression darkened.
He faced the Woman in White.
"Is it true that you ordered security to remove her?"
She couldn't answer.
Her confidence had vanished.
"I...I didn't know who she was."
"You dragged her."
"You insulted her."
"You called her a nobody."
Each sentence sounded heavier than the last.
The chairman removed a gold access card from his pocket.
"I hereby terminate every privilege you hold within Soulmore Resort."
"You are no longer welcome on this property."
The woman stared in disbelief.
"You can't do that!"
"I invested millions!"
The chairman didn't blink.
"You invested money."
He glanced toward Evelyn.
"She built the name."
