Vanessa believed she was untouchable.
She moved into Richard's penthouse.
She redesigned the nursery.
She even scheduled magazine interviews about becoming "Philadelphia's newest power couple."
Then the first subpoena arrived.
Followed by another.
And another.
Television reporters gathered outside the building.
"Harrington Commercial under federal investigation."
"Possible financial fraud."
"Mistress accused in courthouse assault."
Sponsors disappeared overnight.
Luxury brands canceled contracts.
Her social media followers turned against her.
Then detectives knocked on her door.
"Ms. Kensington?"
"We have surveillance footage from the courthouse."
"And multiple eyewitnesses."
Vanessa laughed nervously.
"It was self-defense."
The detective pressed play.
The security video clearly showed Vanessa looking around...
Making sure no one stood behind her...
Then deliberately shoving an eight-month-pregnant woman down the stairs.
Her smile disappeared.
"Am I under arrest?"
The detective nodded.
"You are now."
