Alexander Vale’s philanthropic foundation was hosting its annual "Future of Education" summit in the estate's grand library the following week. It was a massive PR event designed to showcase how Vale Technologies was revolutionizing learning.
It was also the perfect stage.
If Alexander only respected innovation, data, and public perception, Matthew and Lucy were going to give him exactly that.
They worked feverishly in the greenhouse. Matthew possessed an absolute genius for coding—a talent his father had completely overlooked. He had been secretly building a software program that mapped the night sky and translated astronomical data into visual frequencies. It was a program built by a deaf boy to show how the universe communicated without sound.
Lucy’s job was equally difficult. She had to become his voice. Matthew wrote out his speech, and for hours each day, Lucy practiced reading his signs and speaking the words aloud with perfect timing, emotion, and clarity.
