Within minutes, laptops were open across the dining table.
Financial records appeared on every screen.
Shell companies.
Forged invoices.
Hidden transfers.
Every document I had secretly copied matched the investigators' files.
Vanessa slowly stood.
"This proves nothing."
One attorney slid another folder across the table.
"It proves quite a lot."
Inside were photographs.
Emails.
Bank statements.
Electronic signatures.
Even voice recordings discussing how company funds had been moved into Vanessa's consulting business.
Adrian stared in disbelief.
"How did you get those?"
I answered quietly.
"You taught me to become invisible."
He remembered every meeting where he assumed I wasn't paying attention.
