Chapter 8: The Anniversary Surprise
One year after Emily and Daniel’s wedding, the couple decided to celebrate their anniversary in the same garden where their unforgettable wedding had taken place.
The venue looked almost exactly the same.
The white flowers decorated the pathways.
The soft lights hung between the trees.
The peaceful garden once again carried the feeling of love and happiness.
But this time, there was a special guest with an important mission.

When Emily arrived, she immediately noticed something was different.

She laughed.

“I have a job.”

Everyone laughed.
Noah walked toward her holding a small box.
Emily looked at Daniel.
“Is this what I think it is?”
Daniel smiled.
“You’ll have to ask him.”
Noah reached her and opened the box.
Inside was a small handmade bracelet with colorful beads.
Emily looked surprised.
“I made it for you.”
Her expression softened.
“You made this?”
Noah nodded.
“It says something.”
Emily looked closer.
The letters were uneven, but she could still read them.

Emily’s eyes filled with tears.
“You made this for me?”
“Yes,” Noah said. “Because you gave me a happy day.”
Emily knelt down and hugged him.
“You have no idea how special you are.”
Noah smiled.
Then he looked at Daniel.
“Your turn.”
Daniel raised his eyebrows.
“My turn?”
Noah nodded.
“You have to promise something too.”
The adults laughed.
“What do I have to promise?” Daniel asked.
Noah thought carefully.
“You have to always make Emily smile.”
The laughter disappeared.
Everyone became quiet.

Daniel knelt beside Noah and Emily.
“I promise,” he said.
Emily looked at her husband and smiled.
