Chapter 1: The Camera Never Lies

Chapter 1: The Camera Never Lies
Silence swallowed the ballroom.
The guests who had been whispering moments earlier now stared at the mother in disbelief.
The man smirked.
"You don't seriously think a security camera is going to save you?"
The mother slowly wiped the tears from her face.
"No," she replied calmly. "I think it's going to expose you."
She reached into her purse and placed a small flash drive on the banquet table.
"I asked the hotel manager to preserve every second of footage the moment my daughter started crying."
The man's confident smile disappeared.
"What are you talking about?"
The giant screen behind the wedding stage suddenly came to life.
Every eye in the room turned toward it.
The footage showed the little girl standing alone beside the dessert table, clutching her stuffed rabbit.
She never touched the phone.
Instead...
The video clearly captured the man walking behind her.
He looked around to make sure no one was watching.
Then, with deliberate precision, he slipped his own phone into the pocket of her jean jacket.
Gasps echoed through the ballroom.
Someone whispered, "He framed her..."
Another guest shook his head in disgust.
The grandmother's face turned pale.
The mother knelt beside her daughter and hugged her tightly.
May you like
"You did nothing wrong, sweetheart."
For the first time since the nightmare began, the little girl stopped crying.
