The boutique had never been this quiet.
Not even the soft music playing through hidden speakers could survive the tension freezing every corner of the luxury store.
The manager stood frozen near the counter, her face drained of color as the billionaire held the crying child tightly in his arms. The girl clung to his suit like she was afraid he would disappear again.
“Papa… they hurt me…” she whispered.
The billionaire’s jaw tightened.
His eyes slowly lifted.
And when they landed on the manager, the entire room felt colder.
“You touched my daughter?” he asked quietly.
No one answered.
The employee who had been fired still stood near the marble floor, stunned, her hands shaking as she realized what was unfolding in front of her.
